Music, movement and rhythm – brought to life for learners
Lively interactive sessions that engage learners in joyful, hands-on learning experiences.
High-energy interactive workshops learners love
Kabako’s school drumming sessions are lively, interactive experiences that combine rhythm, movement, singing and participation. Designed specifically for learners, these sessions are energetic, inclusive and joyful – creating a shared experience that brings music, culture and connection into the school environment.
Nurturing creativity, expression and confidence
Our workshops are designed for schools and are often part of cultural days, enrichment programmes and special events. Learners take part in interactive drumming, call-and-response rhythms, movement and simple songs, creating a playful and inclusive experience. Guided by experienced facilitators, each session builds confidence, participation and teamwork while celebrating rhythm and African musical traditions.

Why the Kabako method works
Interactive drumming is more than an activity – it’s a high-participation coordination experience that pulls a group into shared attention. Kabako sessions follow a deliberate arc designed to turn that presence into cohesion, energy and a genuine sense of “we”.
