Driven by purpose, rhythm and the power of shared experience
Creating spaces where people connect through drumming, movement and shared play.
Uniting People Through Rhythm
Kabako is a rhythm-based experience company built around the idea that shared music and movement bring people together. We create participatory rhythm experiences using drumming, percussion and movement, delivered through workshops, facilitated group sessions, circle-style experiences and event performance. Everything we do is inclusive, engaging and designed to build real connection.
We are driven by a greater purpose
Our Purpose
Uniting People Through Rhythm. When individuals play, move and listen together, barriers soften and a sense of shared presence emerges. Our work is about creating spaces where people can participate fully, feel included and experience connection through rhythm.
Our Name
Kabako comes from the Bambara language of West Africa. It is a noun used to describe something extraordinary – a moment of wonder, surprise or amazement. While sometimes translated as “miracle”, its meaning is broader and more grounded: an unexpected, remarkable event that causes people to pause and take notice.

Why the Kabako method works
Interactive drumming is more than an activity – it’s a high-participation coordination experience that pulls a group into shared attention. Kabako sessions follow a deliberate arc designed to turn that presence into cohesion, energy and a genuine sense of “we”.
